Hazardous Building Materials

HAZMAT, or hazardous materials, are substances that pose a risk to health, safety, and the environment. These materials can be in various forms, including solids, liquids, and gases. HAZMAT materials are commonly found in various industries, including manufacturing, transportation, healthcare, and research. It is essential to handle and transport these materials safely to prevent accidents and protect human health and the environment. Our speciliast team qualified of HAZMAT assessors locate, inspect and sample, as far as reasonably practicable during a Hazardous Materials Survey (HMS):
  • Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM).
  • Synthetic Mineral Fibre (SMF).
  • Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCB’s) containing capacitors in fluorescent light fittings.
  • Lead containing paint.
  • Lead containing dust.
  • Air monitoring.

Following the Hazardous Building Materials Survey, a Hazardous Building Materials Register of site is provided based on the findings.
